Step 2

Register online

To register, you’ll need a valid email address, Court Papers or Probation Referral Form from your officer, access to a printer, and a credit card, debit card, or money order.

Complete your registration, pay the fee, and print your timesheet.

Step 3

Start serving hours

Contact the approved locations on your printed timesheet (under Referrals) to find out when you can start working.

Bring your timesheet to track hours worked. An agency representative will need to sign your timesheet each day.

Step 4

Complete your hours

Email a photo of your completed timesheet to ydavalos@volnow.org, or bring it to our office. Include the name of your probation officer (if you have one).

Then, fill out your post-program survey. Keep an eye out for your final survey that will be sent to you 90–120 days later.

FAQs

You’ll save time by getting matched directly with agencies that are seeking court-mandated volunteers. Matches are based on your offenses and location. Plus, your printed timesheet will help you log your hours all in one place.

To register, you’ll need: a) Court Papers or Probation Referral Form from your officer, b) a form of payment (credit or debit card to pay online, cash or money to pay in person), c) access to a printer, and d) a valid email address.

Your fee covers the administrative cost of referrals to approved work locations as well as verifying and reporting your completed hours. VolunteerNow ensures you have the options you need to complete your hours and that they’re tracked and counted in the ways courts require.

Fees are $58 for probation and $43 for municipal courts. You can pay by cash, debit, credit card, or money order.
Please note: If you try to register more than once, you will be charged each time. Contact our office for new referrals or to change any personal information.

Refunds must be requested within 90 days of applying. Refunds are only granted in special circumstances and are considered on a case-by-case basis.

When you register, you’ll enter your offenses and zip code. You’ll be matched with up to 5 approved locations (from our database of agencies) where you can serve. Your approved locations will be listed under Referrals on your printed timesheet.

Please note that you will only receive work credit for hours worked at the approved locations you’ve been referred to on your timesheet.
